Who is Active911?
In 2011, our CEO, Joseph Sullivan, kept encountering a problem as a volunteer firefighter: his radio would page out long after the call had come into dispatch. One particular call, he arrived at the fire station and the crew was already washing the trucks from the incident. Frustrated, he worked to develop a solution that would alert him faster than his radio. This was the beginnings of Active911. Since then, we have grown to offer more than just alerting solutions, but a holistic approach to incident response and coordination. Our ActiveTeam software is our newest product offering. This software is a staffing and scheduling tool designed specifically for fire brigades. One of the struggles our clients have listed is the ability to let their team easily claim open shifts and trade shifts as needed. For volunteer departments, this need is important to maintain a fully staffed team. Our software is designed to do just that. You can customize your schedules to fit your needs. Users are able to log on and see their schedule as well as request to fill open shifts. This product is in its early development phase with many new features coming. We are offering free trials to those interested in discovering more.
