ADALIT is a well-known and established international brand, designed and manufactured by Adaro Tecnología S.A. at its headquarters in Spain. The company produces and delivers fit-for-purpose intrinsically safe smart lighting solutions targeted at an extremely demanding work environment. To remain at the forefront of technology, Adaro boasts an inhouse engineering and research & development department that forges ahead to enable continuous design and technological evolution.
In Adaro the process of developing a new torch starts with direct collaboration with firefighters, who are the end users of our Adalit flashlights. The concept and construction of a new flashlight is achieved with direct input and collaboration with first responders and is vital in establishing the pillars for new development. We learn from their experience, listen to their feedback, comprehend the challenges, and then focus on their inherent needs. Once we have captured this invaluable information, the entire team will start brainstorming until we have found a workable solution, where we are then able to proceed with the concept phase culminating in several creative ideas. After concluding the research and testing, we select the best ideas from which to generate our very first prototypes, which are then presented to various collaborators who analyse functionality and test the flashlights in real working conditions, to evaluate technical features and performance. These steps ensure durability, functionality and most importantly the safety of our first responders, giving us the label of the best flashlight manufacturer in the industry.
As a result of this direct cooperation with professionals, we have been able to develop unique features into our flashlights, which guarantee firefighters’ trust and safety. An example is our LEDEngine Optics, a fully dedicated light optic system engineered to reach the most optimal performance for any task. The system combines the spot and flood light beam integrated into a single torch, with the possibility to select either feature separately, or to turn both on simultaneously for added versatility in any condition (available in the popular L-3000 and new L-90). The Step Lighting System function, a lighting feature integrated in the optics that allows the user to expand his or her field of view and increase the user’s safety with each step. A beam of light is projected directly towards the ground making it possible to see and avoid hidden objects that could pose a risk to injury (L-3000, L-90, and L-30). The run time information feature allows the user to know at any time what the battery level is, either through a digital display (L-3000 and L-5000), with backlit button (L-90) or through flashes when switching the flashlight on (L-30, L-10 and L-5).
Our first responders are faced with very harsh and unforgiving conditions, with extreme temperatures, dangerous substances and working at heights, and for this reason our flashlights are made with high-quality components resistant to these severe elements and conditions. In addition, to fulfil our commitment to sustainability, all flashlight spare parts are available as replacement parts, thus maximizing Adalit useful life for decades.

ADALIT L-90
The new L-90 torch is a pure right-angle torch, specifically designed to operate in the most demanding conditions. It is supplied in four unique versions, the L-90 & L-90Power running 3AA alkaline batteries and the L-90R & L-90RPower operating with the latest technology lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The L-90 & L-90R utilizes two LED LEDEngine optics designed to work as both a spot and flood light that can be operated simultaneously or individually. The LEDEngine boasts 280 lumens with a 235m beam distance. The L-90P & L-90RPower run three LED LEDEngine optics developed to combine a sharp focused spot and fringe light with 340 lumens and 265m beam distance. Both optics are fitted with an integrated Step Lighting System, illuminating the ground thereby increasing the safety of the firefighter whilst walking. The innovative backlit on/off button makes the torch easy to operate, as it illuminates or blinks to indicate the battery capacity level and run time. The user knows the autonomy of the torch at any time and avoids the risk of running out of battery at the most crucial time. Two different light intensity configurations can be selected, from 10 hours – in high-intensity mode – to 20 hours in battery-saving mode in the alkaline version. The rechargeable model’s light intensity configuration is from 4 to 18 hours. During any specific task the operator can decide the best trade-off between light intensity and run time without compromising his or her safety. Conceived for the safest performance in the Fire & Safety industries, the torch includes a heavy-duty rear clip for easy attachment to gear and the fast charger. ATEX certified for use in zone 0 environments for the potential exposure to explosive gasses, the torch can be supplied with a photoluminescent bezel and magnet.
ADALIT L-30
The L-30 is the most advanced helmet torch designed specifically for the firefighter that is fitted with an integrated helmet adapter to optimize the side fitting of the helmet. It incorporates the revolutionary Step Lighting System that lights up the path for your feet as you walk, which combined with the innovative Power LEDEngine Optic generates an outstanding lighting source of 350 lumens.
To guarantee the maximum battery life during bushfires or prolonged rescue operations, the run time can be extended from 3 hours up to 12 without compromising optimal visibility or the firefighter’s safety. The torch body is manufactured with thermoplastic resin and offers resistance against high impact, extreme temperatures and corrosive substances to withstand the most extreme working environments and conditions.
For increased visibility, tracking and safety, the torch is fitted with two rear flashing red LEDs that facilitate the firefighters’ position in thick smoke or in dusty environments. Weighing in at only 165 grams, with Ingress Protection IP68, the ergonomic compact profile of the L-30 becomes an essential tool for the firefighter. The torch is compatible with the most common firefighters’ helmets on the market and fits into the existing L-10 chargers.
The torch is Certified in accordance with ATEX & IECEx Zone 0 Gas and 20 for Dust and it meets the highest international safety standards.

ADALIT L-5000 Z0
The L-5000 Z0 is a multifunctional handheld torch fitted with a swivelling head that allows the user to direct the light in any preferred direction. It incorporates a digital display indicating the actual run time in hours and minutes to ensure increased firefighter safety. To meet the most technical needs, two different LEDEngine optics have been engineered, one SPOT designed to reach the maximum distance in the long range (70.000cd/500lm), and the other FLOOD, therefore specific for illuminate a larger surface in a medium range (20.000cd/500lm). Both lighting sources include two flashing amber LEDs as signalling light in case of emergency.
Three different light intensity configurations can be selected ranging from 6, 12 or 24 hours with the main light source or 12, 24 and up to 48 hours with the auxiliary light source. In any specific task the operator can decide the best trade-off between light intensity and run time. The body has been conceived with a flat base to allow excellent stability for firefighters whilst crawling in thick smoke and is equipped with two rear red LEDs to facilitate user localization and increase safety.
Produced to be utilized as a hand lamp, the L-5000 Z0 can also be used for area lighting fitted on a tripod or for ease of use can be fixed onto any metal surfaces through the three rear magnets that ensure excellent grip. The torch is Certified in accordance with ATEX & IECEx Zone 0 Gas and 20 for Dust and it meets the highest international safety standards.
