During David’s 32 year career in London Fire Brigade, he was responsible for the 5,000 firefighters at London’s 102 fire stations; the 999 emergency mobilising function; all Regulatory Fire Safety issues, and Community Safety activities in London. David also led the LFB team at the safe London 2012 Olympics, and has played a major role in serious operational incidents across the Capital. He was awarded the Queen’s Fire Service Medal in the 2016 New Year Honours List and now undertakes international consultancy.
