where we will be issuing 250 goodie bags on each day. The bags are designed to go to Police, Ambulance, Fire Service etc, and we are asking that they show a valid Emergency Services ID to receive the care package.

Everyone who received a bag will be automatically entered into a raffle to win a selection of prizes donated by our lovely supporters, including Bates, Magnum, FixNZip, SP Services, Safariland and many more.

Hammond Drysuits

Comfort and safety are paramount in a rescue situation and at Hammond our drysuits, for use in a water rescue situation, are designed with this in mind. Hammond manufacture a bespoke range of made-2-measure drysuits for ultimate comfort alongside the standard range.

All seams on Hammond drysuits are stitched and hand taped for a longer lasting watertight barrier.
The suits have a second layer of Cordura fabric over the seat, knee and shin areas, this added layer helps protect the suit and the wearer to reduce the impact should any sharp objects try to penetrate through. Further, as standard Hammond prefer the stronger 8bdm (8 teeth per inch) neoprene coated metal dry zip, an elasticated rear waist, and a suit bag to keep the suit protected when not being worn.

Optional extras include replacing the latex seals with neoprene ones for added comfort. The latex socks can be replaced with Bekina Steplight X Safety Boots. To further customise the drysuits, they can be branded with the appropriate corporate logos and individual names, and reflective stripes to increase visibility.

On stand E38 discover more about the different grades of drysuits in terms of breathability and durability.

After launching their bariatric training mannequin at last year’s Emergency Services Show, Bariquins are back for their second year at the exhibition.

With the prevalence of obesity becoming an everyday issue in the emergency and health care sectors, Bariquins’ mannequins have been designed to assist training personnel working within such areas, to safely and efficiently manoeuvre or rescue plus-size people whilst maintaining their subject’s dignity.

A Bariquin mannequin weighs 25 stone, that’s 350lb or 159kg but can be carried by just one person -providing it’s not assembled. Each Bariquin consists of 15 weighted sections, a jacket and realistic looking head, hands and feet. The biggest sections are 16kg (that’s less than your flight suitcase) with handles fitted to all the heavier parts. Decals and markings aid assembly, allowing it to be put together in less
than 10 minutes.

As a Bariquin can be placed in both prone and sitting positions, a variety of scenarios can be rehearsed, enabling organisations to become more proficient when dealing with casualties or patients who suffer from obesity. That can translate to less time at incidents, fewer manual handling injuries to staff or their patient, new techniques devised or existing ones improved.

Bariquins is at Stand P37, directly facing the West Midlands Fire Service section.

NHS Trust and other ambulance sector visitors will also be well catered for on the Ballyclare stand.
