didlaw EDUCATION is delighted to announce the first annual disability discrimination conference, Disability Matters 2015.
The one day conference is being held on Thursday 19th March 2015 at 30 Pavilion Road, Knightsbridge, London and will be followed by a champagne reception.
The aim of the conference is to give attendees all the tools they need to effectively manage disability at work with confidence.
It has now been over 10 years since the Disability Discrimination Act placed a legal duty on Fire and Rescue Services to comply with the Act and almost 5 years since the Equality Act came into force. Can you honestly say that you know what your responsibilities are?
This conference will be perfect for all managers, HR advisers and anyone who has a responsibility to manage or advise on disability in the workplace.
The content is focused on managing disability, keeping staff at work, avoiding litigation and giving confidence to attendees to effectively and sensitively manage staff with disabilities.
Attendees will receive 5 hours CPD accreditation.
Speakers include; Michael Rubenstein, Karen Jackson, Spencer Keen, Richard O’Dair and Gregory Burke.
The conference is interactive with smaller workshops led by each of the speakers.
