Rosenbauer’s exhibit at this year’s top trade fair in Hanover will bear the motto, “In touch with the customer, in touch with innovation.” The fire industry’s technology leader will be providing in-depth insights into its product range and in particular its latest developments. On the 5,000m2 company stand and the adjacent outdoor area, visitors to the fair will be able to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of Rosenbauer. The company itself will be showing no less than 28 vehicles and a further 15 will be on display at other stands and in operational demonstrations. During the daily shows, it will be possible to see the PANTHER, AT and L32A-XS in action and at first hand. Moreover, day-to-day live reports will also serve to bring events even closer.
The new PANTHER
The highlight at the Interschutz 2015 will be the new PANTHER. In Hanover, Rosenbauer will be showing the third generation of the ARFF, which has been in production since 1991. The new PANTHERs possess powerful Volvo engines, completely new extinguishing technology, enhanced functionality and an emotional design language. During the further development process, a special focus was placed on better visibility, improved handling, optimum operational and control comfort, and maximum vehicle safety. One will be able to not only experience the new PANTHER on the Rosenbauer stand or during one of the daily shows, but also as a 1:43 scale model. In addition, a new fan collection based on the new PANTHER is to be launched. Apart from the new PANTHER 4×4 and 6×6 models, PANTHER S 6×6 und 8×8 customer vehicles and the newly designed E5000 rescue staircase will round off the range of airport fire service vehicles to be presented at the fair.
Even closer to the vehicles
The outdoor demonstrations of the aerial ladders are always one of the most spectacular sights at the Interschutz and this time Metz Aerials has again come up with something special in the shape of a display of its entire aerial and turntable ladder program. Accordingly, visitors will be able to see both the L62, the world’s longest aerial ladder, and the L20FA, an ultra-compact device with a very small turntable, in action. The ladders are equipped with new podiums and cages and for the first time, an L32A will be on show with an optimized cage arm angle that allows the cage to be lowered still closer to the front of the cab and the podium.
The whole world of Rosenbauer
At the Interschutz 2015, Rosenbauer will be presenting innovations from all of its product areas. These will include developments in the fields of protective clothing, technical equipment, extinguishing systems, telematics, stationary fire protection and customer services. One item from the extinguishing systems range that is sure to catch the eye is a new portable pump, which closes the gap in the performance range between 750 l/min (BEAVER) and 1,500 l/min (FOX). The engine of the new portable pump comes from the drive system specialist BRP-Rotax from Upper Austria. Moreover, visitors will be able to test the monitor control system and customer services will be showing which operational scenarios can be practiced using the PANTHER Tactic Simulator and the ERDS driving safety simulator.
Rosenbauer will also be providing a look at its group activities with fire trucks from its Spanish production, an industrial pumper bound for Saudi Arabia, based on a Commander chassis manufactured by Rosenbauer America, as well as other vehicles produced for international customers.
Focus on standard vehicles
Standard municipal vehicles traditionally represent an important aspect of the Interschutz. Accordingly, Rosenbauer will be presenting both its AT and CL trucks in a diversity of variations and with a number of innovative details.
For the Rosenbauer Group, the Interschutz is by far the world’s most important trade fair and the preparations are already in full swing. The aim is to bring visitors still closer to Rosenbauer in order to obtain a firsthand experience of the products on show. The Rosenbauer stand will be in Hall 27 and its vehicles will also be in the adjacent outdoor area. The fair takes place at the Hanover trade fair centre from 8 to 13 June 2015.
