New FLIR K45 and K55 cameras offer thermal images with Fire Scene Enhancement (FSX) technology
FLIR Systems has recently added the FLIR K45 and FLIR K55 to its range of thermal imaging firefighting cameras. Both cameras incorporate FLIR’s revolutionary Fire Scene Enhancement (FSX) technology which creates ultra-crisp thermal images, while the FLIR K55 is also equipped with on-board video recording, which is ideal for evidence gathering and training purposes. The new members of the FLIR K-Series family will allow firefighters to see even better in total darkness or in smoke-filled rooms.
Both the FLIR K45 (240 x 180 resolution) and the FLIR K55 (320 x 240 resolution) produce clear, crisp thermal and detail rich images which are presented on a large bright 4” display. This helps firefighters to navigate and make quick and accurate decisions in fire attack, overhaul or search & rescue situations.
New: FSX™ Flexible Scene Enhancement
FSX enhances thermal images on the FLIR K45 and K55 through real-time digital processing inside the camera. The result is an ultra-sharp image that shows extraordinary structural, edge, and other instantly-recognizable detail. This helps make it much easier for firefighters and rescue teams to find their way through the smokiest, darkest environments, and to instantly identify targets in scenes with extreme temperature dynamics.
New: on-board video recording
The FLIR K55 camera also has on-board video recording, which allows for evidence gathering and evaluation of the intervention afterwards. The video recording functionality is also an excellent tool for training purposes.
