In summer 2018 the ZIEGLER-Group started production at the new plant in Kutina (Croatia).
Work on the production halls and the administrative building had already begun in November 2017. Among other things, the entire interior design of the administration was modernized and an information management system was integrated. This system connects the two plants in Kutina and the existing plant in Zagreb. The production areas were also aligned and optimized to meet the needs of future manufacturing processes. Extensive outdoor work has created a uniform picture of the buildings in the ZIEGLER-design.
As a result of the expansion, more than 250 colleagues are now representing the ZIEGLER-Group in Croatia – more than 100 of them at the new plant in Kutina.
“For the ZIEGLER Group, the opening of the new plant in Kutina is another milestone in the company’s history,” says Bernd Geiselmann, CFO of the ZIEGLER Group.
Thanks to the expansion of capacity and the specialization of the different locations according to defined key topics, the cooperation within the Group will be optimized and expanded even more in the future.
The first vehicles manufactured at the new production site in Kutina were delivered to the end customer – the Croatian government – already back in June.
The official opening with important representatives from Croatia, the national press and various customers took place on 26.10.2018.
