Hytrans Systems b.v. Are a Dutch manufacturer specialising in large volume pump solutions with hydraulically driven submersible pumps for fire brigades, civil defence and industry. Hytrans has 30 years of experience with hydraulic driven pumps and has delivered over 1.000 HydroSub™ units worldwide. The Hydrosub™ series of pumps range from discharge capacities of 1,500 litres p/min to 45,000 litres p/min. Accessing water when an incident is a large distance away is no problem for the Hydrosub™. A water supply system of 3,000 litres p/min can be attained in just 15 minutes from 3,000 meters requiring just a handful of personnel to deploy and operate the system. The Hydrosub™ series also comes with submersible pumps complete with flotation devices. Applications for the Hydrosub™ range include flooding where subway systems, cellars in hospitals may need to be pumped dry. Firefighting especially wildland fires where large amounts of water need to be transported over several kilometers. Industrial incidents where fixed hydrants may have been damaged by earthquakes or vandalism. The Hydrosub™ played an invaluable part in the successful extinguishment of the Buncefield disaster in 2005 and also played a significant role at the Fukushima incident in 2011. Complimenting their expansive product range, Hytrans are pleased to announce the introduction of the Autoflaker, a fully automatic hose recovery system. Coupled with the Hydrosub™ series of pumps, the Autoflaker now only needs the driver to retrieve large lengths of hose up to 12” diameter in a matter of minutes.
