The new Magirus FIRE 1500 portable fire pump has a capacity of 1,500 l/min at 10 bar pressure. It is powered by a modern, four-cylinder, in-line motor built by Fiat Power Train (FPT). The maximum performance of the motor – built with aluminium technology – is 57 kW (77 hp). Featuring the most recent electronic fuel-injection technology, the motor thus meets current emission control regulations. The proven built-in centrifugal pump in the portable pump runs smoothly, requires no hearing protection, and can thus be operated from the vehicle superstructure. In this combination, the Magirus TS 10-1500 is optimal for all-round use. Fire departments can optionally select the Magirus FIRE 1000, which has maximum performance of 1,350 l/min at 10 bar.

High performance, smooth operation, reliability and compactness – regardless of operating site – are essential characteristics of a portable fire pump. Fire departments throughout the world have used Magirus portable pumps for decades to fight fires and transport water over long distances. Thanks to their ergonomic carrying handles, the pumps can be quickly and easily offloaded in emergencies and positioned where needed. Alternatively, they can be permanently installed in a fire engine and used as a pump with an independent drive. All pumps in both series are equipped with the dirt-tolerant, wear-resistant Magirus Primatic ventilation system. The two-stage pump construction requires less engine speed, which significantly extends its service life. In the case of fire pump vehicles, the pumps can be operated either on the vehicle or as an on-site mobile device. Compact construction guarantees great mobility at any mission; due to its stainless-steel chassis, the portable pump is suitable not only for manual transport, but also for fixation on turntable ladders or helicopters. Magirus portable pumps are a convincing solution for fire departments of any size.
