The search for victims of the horrific fire which engulfed the former Police Headquarters in Sao Paulo has been called off.
Reports suggest that up to 250 people had been squatting in the Wilton Paes de Almeida building with four people remaining unaccounted for last week.
On Saturday, following the continued work of Firefighters in searching the ruins, four bodies, including those of 10-year-old twin boys were found.
City Officials took the decision with State Governor Mario Franca telling reporters that rescuers “do not expect to find anything more”.
The fire which happened on 1st May consumed the 26-storey building leading to its collapse.
