Streamlight® Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting devices, offers a range of high-quality products built with precision and performance especially for fire & rescue, law enforcement and the military. Streamlight earned their reputation one customer at a time and listening to their customers is a key feature that reflects many decades of invaluable insight and understanding. This approach led to new ideas and the ‘Brilliant Thinking®’ that sets them apart, combined with their knowledge, experience and technical capabilities that have allowed them to consistently lead the industry.
Streamlight President and CEO, Ray Sharrah said “Streamlight is a pioneer in rechargeable lighting with one of the largest range of safety-rated lights. We are revolutionising LED lights, making them brighter, safer and incredibly durable.” He added, “After we’ve met the challenges involved in designing and engineering a light, we put it through the most demanding industry testing to ensure the highest levels of performance and dependability”.
Safe for use in hazardous environments
The new safety-rated model of the high-performance Enduro® Pro HAZ-LO® headlamp is ATEX and IECEx-certified for use in Zone 0 locations faced by many first responders. Ideal for using in dangerous environments with potentially hazardous conditions, the Enduro® Pro HAZ-LO® ATEX headlamp’s 45° tilting head has three lighting modes to cover a variety of tasks: spot for a focused beam, flood for soft area illumination that won’t tire your eyes and spot/flood combo for even more light output. The light includes an adjustable elastic head strap, and also comes with two additional options: a rubber strap and 3M® Dual Lock® reclosable fasteners for mounting on hard hats.

Precise light beams
The Vulcan® 180 HAZ-LO® is a Class 1, Division 1 safety-rated lantern featuring a 24-hour run time on low, 180° articulating head, and two ultra-bright blue tail lights for visibility in difficult environments. Whether from smoke, inclement weather or other hazards. With its 180° articulating head and locking mechanism to lock it in the upright position, firefighters and first responders can aim the light beam precisely where it is needed for task lighting purposes. Powered by a 7.8Ahr lithium ion battery, the Vulcan® 180 HAZ-LO® is one of the lightest-weight lanterns in its category and its quick install charge rack fits the same footprint as the Vulcan® and LiteBox® series.
Multi-fuel and high lumens
The PolyTac® family of lights is among Streamlight’s most popular with fire and rescue personnel because of their extreme brightness, compact size and exceptional durability. Delivering up to 500 lumens, the PolyTac® 90X USB is a right-angle personal light with multi-fuel battery technology. This gives users the ability to power and recharge the light through convenient USB recharging or via disposable batteries. Whether conducting rescue operations, investigating fire scenes or signalling others during emergencies, it’s ideal for first responders.
Turn to a higher power
The Portable Scene Light II is a 10,000-lumen rechargeable, waterproof scene light. Featuring a versatile steel frame and 360° rotating head for precise aiming, this scene light is perfect for any task, from marking exits, post investigation, ground clean-up to mobile triage centre lighting. With zero deployment time and a compact footprint, the Portable Scene Light II requires no set up and can be easily used in rapid response situations. Housed in a high-impact thermoplastic, the virtually indestructible alloy steel frame can be stacked for up to three units, creating a bright “light tower” effect with even more lumens for multi-level lighting. The hooked feet of the light are designed to hang on doors, framing and guard rails.
As lighting technology continues to evolve, firefighting professionals worldwide can continue to count on Streamlight to pioneer new advances in portable lighting technology, leading to more applications and enhancements in lighting brightness, run times, distance capability and features.
