Returning to the NEC from 22-23 September 2020, The Emergency Services Show is the UK’s leading annual showcase of the blue light sector, bringing together all disciplines from the emergency services sector to discover innovative technology and operational solutions, share their experiences and unite in their collaborative approach to public safety.
Free CPD-Accredited Seminars
The 2020 show will feature a host of key learning opportunities seeing the return of the highly- attended CPD-accredited seminar theatres on emerging technologies, digital transformation and lessons learnt, with the addition of the new future policing seminar this year.
Once again, there will be a focus on supporting those working in demanding and challenging fire and rescue roles, with a wealth of free advice on physical and mental wellbeing available in the health & wellbeing seminar theatre. Speakers will including emergency responders who have experienced mental health challenges, and organisations who are implementing change and offering support.
The College of Paramedics will also once again deliver a programme of free 30-minute CPD workshops which fire and rescue personnel are welcome to attend.

See and Handle Latest Equipment
Around the indoor and outdoor exhibition visitors will be able to see and touch the latest kit including fire and road safety equipment, medical equipment, IT & communications kit, PPE, protective clothing and uniforms, operational equipment, training and training equipment, vehicles and fleet, and discuss solutions to their needs with suppliers.
The organisers are delighted to welcome back key suppliers including Venari Group (including Ziegler, SCHUBERTH and Euramco), Draeger, Bristol Uniforms, Magnum and The Fire Service College, with many exhibitors demonstrating solutions and technology live on their stands.
Companies will also be exhibiting at The Emergency Services Show for the first time including ATSR, HIPPO Multipower, Sherp UK and Transporter Energy.
In the Collaboration Zone, emergency services, voluntary groups, charities and NGOs will be sharing details of the support they offer, while members of other partner agencies will be available to discuss co-response and other areas of partnership working.
Paul Speight, Watch Manager from Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service commented: “It is a must-attend event: there is so much here for everybody, for all departments, and such a great networking opportunity. I have made so many contacts over the two days.”
Simon Hardiman, Group Commander, West Midlands Fire Service agreed: “It’s a fantastic couple of days and is really good to engage with other providers and other rescue services. It’s a great opportunity to see what other services are providing. Integration with the other services is the real key for us.”
Entry to the exhibition and seminars, as well as parking, is completely free-of-charge.
New for 2020, alongside ESS 2020 are 4 other events in the Nineteen portfolio. The Health & Safety Event, Fire Safety Event, The Security Event and The Facilities Event are all taking place over both days in adjacent halls at the NEC. Visitors will be able to enter all 5 events using one pass.
