MDM Publishing Ltd (MDM) is delighted to announce the launch of its fifth fire title, UK Fire. The first issue will be published in May 2018 with a circulation of 6,500 fire industry professionals from the fire protection, firefighting and rescue sectors. The UK Fire website has been launched today.
UK Fire is set to become the only quarterly fire journal specific to the United Kingdom fire industry dedicated to both fire protection, firefighting and rescue. The editorial features will be written by industry experts and comprise a unique blend focussing on the latest technology, training methods and equipment as well as highlighting sector specific issues from around the UK. Regular product and company profiles, events updates and news will make UK Fire the first choice read for fire protection and firefighting professionals.
UK Fire will be edited by Phil Martin, a former UK firefighter who joined MDM after a 34-year career in the UK Fire and Rescue Service. Phil has experience in a wide range of fire and rescue service references and disciplines serving in all ranks up to and including a period as Chief Fire Officer retiring from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service. Phil is a Fellow of the Institution of Fire Engineers having served on the International Council and as a Branch President. He is a graduate of the Fire and Rescue Service Executive Leadership Programme and has worked with US Fire and Rescue Services.
Phil would be delighted to hear from professionals and organisations who would like to submit editorial features for UK Fire – Phil can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org
