NCEC’s Hazmat conference has proved to be the ultimate forum for hazmat professionals to gain knowledge and share experiences with like-minded professionals working in the chemical incident industries.
Through feedback NCEC has received from many of the regular Hazmat delegates, we know that the annual event was sorely missed this year. That is why NCEC is holding this virtual alternative to the annual conference. The focus of this summit will be the impact of and recovery from COVID-19 – including lessons learnt and best practice for hazmat training.
Professor Rob Chilcott (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive materials (CBRNE) and toxicology expert) will be speaking on ‘How the effectiveness of respiratory protective equipment is dependent on the test method used’.
NCEC’s Ed Sullivan, hazmat expert and ex-fire and rescue service officer, will give a presentation on ‘Best practices for hazmat training and how it’s changing in light of COVID-19’. We will be announcing a third speaker soon so please keep a look out!
Following the presentations, there will be virtual networking where you will be able to visit virtual rooms and catch up with colleagues or ask our experts any hazmat related questions.
If you work in the hazmat industry and are keen to discuss how the pandemic is affecting present and future hazmat incident response, this event is for you.
The delegate rate is just £50+VAT.

NCEC’s annual Hazmat conferences are now well established as the ‘must go’ event for hazmat professionals. This virtual conference provides the perfect opportunity for hazmat specialists to unite under the current circumstances and is an alternative to the annual conference for 2020.
