With the RIT-Tool, a flexible special device that is part of the E-FORCE series by WEBER RESCUE, you are well-prepared for all application scenarios. As part of the new generation of battery-operated rescue devices produced by WEBER RESCUE, the RIT-Tool provides new and innovative technologies in order to make its application even more efficient. The highlight is the new drive with the intelligence switching technology SPEED CONTROL. Thanks to a newly developed switching valve, the device always finds itself in the maximum speed range, comparable with an automatic transmission in the car, which always engages the optimal gear. Comparative tests have shown that the working speed can hereby be increased by at least 25% depending on the application.
In addition, the RIT-Tool has a 360 ° rotatable and foldable handle made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic with an optimized grip surface. This makes the application more flexible and saves space in storage. It also protects and isolates the operator from electric shocks at voltages of up to 1,000 volts. The additional LED lighting on the device ensures that the working area is evenly illuminated. All control elements of the RIT tool are distinctive and conspicuous in red.
As a fully-fledged cordless combination tool with exchangeable tips and various attachments, the RIT-Tool is a real all-rounder. Depending on the attachment, it is suitable for breaking open doors and windows, cutting round steel and chains, lifting loads, pulling obstacles and opening vehicles during an accident rescue operation.
“One of the most frequently seen application scenarios for the RIT-Tool is opening doors by rapid response troops of the fire brigade, the military and the police,” explains Peter Huemer, Head of International Sales at WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS. With the specially developed door opener tips, opening all common apartment doors quickly becomes easy. The innovative design of the tips, which also fit all other combi-tools with removable tips produced by WEBER RESCUE, enables quick and easy changing during use. Additional spikes on the door opener tips, which are supported directly on the door leaf, prevent the RIT-Tool from slipping out of the door gap.
In combination with the mechanical rescue cylinder RZM CRT, the RIT-Tool can also be used as a rescue cylinder. The RZM CRT can be easily and quickly mounted on the RIT-Tool thanks to the captive bolts. This offers further application possibilities, e.g. creating space for escape or access openings, lifting steering wheels, opening doors or lifting and moving loads. The mechanical rescue ram as an additional attachment for the RIT-Tool has a compact initial length of 320 mm and can be extended up to 655 mm.
The RIT-Tool combines the advantages of a rescue cutter, a spreader and a rescue ram and is therefore particularly suitable for small organizations having a limited budget for rescue equipment. In addition, it requires relatively little space in the emergency vehicle. By default, it is sold without a battery or tips. This enables a free combination of sets, depending on the requirements and area of application.
